Author: I bought this positioned to substitute a Mistu 65 in DLP because it was non-3D. This television has a peak pass picture, excellent 3D capability, and a rattling price.
The upside of DLP is an fantabulous picture, relatively slim size for a rearward projection, and a lightweight design. (the 73 inch positioned1 weighs less than my 2 40 in plasmas) The downside is that it requires a projecter lamp change when the bulb wears away at a cost of virtually $100. My former positioned8 was four years old and I never had to substitute0 the lamp. They lastly from 3000 to 10,000 hours of use.
After the firmware update on these televisions (they will either come that fashion young from WD-73738 the manufactory or can be updated by pluggin an internet cable into the back of the set) they can be employed with DLP Link fashion glasses and requires no emittor.
My only issue is that for some reason, with the settings on “DLP Link” the television will not ship away the 3D signal at each use. Every time you bike the TV pass and then off back and desire to usage the 3D mode, I receive to outcry up the menu, de-select “DLP LINK” and choose “Emittor”, then switch back to “DLP Link” again to stimulate it to output the signal. I think that is a software issue that I hope will exist corrected at the future update.
