I purchased this tv near 2 weeks ago to exchange a 42 in Panasonic plasma. There are a portion of groovy Samsung UN65D8000 things virtually this tv, merely the one thing that matters most – the movie – was a big disappointment. The intention and features of this tv are great. Internet worked actually well, menus are nicely positioned out and I loved the large screen. If you reckon the tv directly on, the film is excellent, merely if you sit the slightest number choke inwardness it washes out quickly. Blackamoor levels gone terrible, screen uniformity issues gone glaring (flashlighting and upright banding) and colors (particularly flesh tones) are poor. Watching an episode of American Horror Story was a nightmare. I exchanged this tv for the PN64D8000 plasma and am much happier. The plasma movie is not quite equally bright, only the perish gist considering and colors are far superior. For me, improve negroid levels and color are more important than spectacularly bright whites. The plasma has a far superior picture.
