Overall, erstwhile this TV is setup correctly and altogether calibration and adjustments are made, it is by far one of the best TVs out there in terms of movie quality, clarify and accuracy. The out of box posing is acceptable merely will feel similar you are at a large2 box electronics store. There are a few calibration settings out in various forums thence only search for them, endeavour them wholly and choose your pick. There is some clouding specially when displaying blacks just zip that will bear out during a normal movie. It is not distracting adequate to accept your attention snuff from any movie. Overall blacks are great. TV is loaded with features and options starting from full calibration settings to internet apps galore. One big con is that the navigation menu/software is far from superior. In fact, it could exist downright horrible at times. You will induce used to it but it could be better. Internet WI-FI built in is neat but getting a good signaling is not the best. I terminated up utilizing a wired connection with a radio repeater. The TV radio is borderline. It takes a few instants to switch between channels regardless of advancing channels or punching in the canal numbers. Like other reviewers said, do not reckoning of advancing channels, merely punch in the real channel Sharp LC40LE830U you are looking for. Finally, this Passed TV is the best value away there. For the price, you cannot conk wrong. It is clearly about $200 cheaper than the competition and Sharp makes their ain LCD panels. Here are a few calibrations from various sources.
